PITTSBURGH —A CDC advisory committee is scheduled to meet Wednesday to discuss the safety and efficacy of Pfizers COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 12 to 15.
Earlier this week, the FDA granted an emergency use authorization for the Pfizer vaccine to be used in children of that age group.
If the committee votes yes, children ages 12 to 15 could begin receiving the Pfizer vaccine as early as Thursday.
