Minnesota high school football, volleyball move to spring, other fall sports to start on time – Minneapolis Star Tribune

The Minnesota State High School League also cleared soccer and individual-based sports — cross-country, girls’ tennis and girls’ swimming — to start as scheduled Aug 17 with limitations.

High school football and volleyball will shift to a new season starting in March 2021 while soccer and individual fall sports can start practice on time in less than two weeks. All seasons would be shorter, with coronavirus concerns guiding possible changes along the way.
