Michigans COVID-19 hospitalizations are following a surge of new cases in recent weeks, leading all other states in its rate of utilized hospital and ICU beds for coronavirus patients.
Throughout the state, 11.9% of in-patient hospital beds are being used to treat COVID-19 patients. Thats an increase of 203% since Feb. 28, and marks No. 1 in the nation.
As of Wednesday, April 7, Michigan hospitals were treating 3,595 patients with confirmed or suspected cases of COVID-19. Thats a significant jump…
