Lions running back D’Andre Swift will not play against the Texans, meaning the rookie is missing a second straight game with a concussion.

DETROIT — Detroit Lions running back D’Andre Swift will not play in Thursday’s game against the Houston Texans.
The rookie suffered a concussion at some point last week — the Lions have not made it clear when Swift suffered the injury — and has been out since. With only walk-throughs due to the short week, Swift was upgraded to limited practice Tuesday and Wednesday and had been listed as questionable to play against the Texans. He was listed as inactive prior to the game.
